Affectionately named Meherabode - home of the compassionate one - our center is devoted to those who love Meher Baba, as well as those interested in knowing more about Him. It’s an oasis of calm in the city where all can gather in His name.
2025 L.A. Sahavas
July 4, 5 & 6
Please join us this summer for our 2025 L.A. Sahavas as we welcome our special guest speaker Shireen Bonner. Shireen is Meher Baba’s niece, the daughter of Meher Baba’s youngest brother, Adi Jr., and Franey Irani. She was born in London, England, a year after her parents moved there from India. She is the only one of her generation of Meher Baba’s family to have been born in the West.
Shireen is a wonderful storyteller who will share her trove of memories about spending time with Meher Baba and the mandali during her three visits to India during her childhood. At their family home in London, named Meher Manzil, her parents held regular monthly meetings after Baba dropped the body and opened their home to the many young Baba lovers drawn to Beloved Baba. Shireen was part of it all and we are excited to have her as this year’s guest speaker!
Our online registration form will be available soon.
“I have come not to teach but to awaken.” ~Meher Baba
Meher Baba declared in 1952, that he is the same Ancient One, who returns again and again, throughout the ages, to redeem man from his bondage of ignorance and to guide him to realize his true Self. Meher Baba is acknowledged by his many followers all over the world as the Avatar of the Age.
Inclusivity Statement
Inspired by the life and teachings of Meher Baba, we are committed to creating an inclusive environment that welcomes all regardless of background, race, ethnicity, age, gender, national origin, socioeconomic status, religious or political affiliation, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, disability, and other visible and nonvisible differences.
“Do your best. Then, don’t worry; be happy in My love.
I will help you.”
~ Meher Baba

Meherabode & Meher Baba Books will again have a booth at the country’s largest book fair. We need Baba lovers to help man the booth and help with set up & break down. This is a wonderful opportunity to spread Baba’s message of divine love.
There are always interesting conversations and encounters with people who have heard of Baba many years ago/never heard of Baba but are interested in spirituality or are just drawn to the posters of Him we prominently display!
The Fair has about 150,000 attendees and celebrates the written word. We know how important Meher Baba’s words are. The Fair features events with vendors, authors, poetry readings, children’s storytelling, food & music.
