Your donation supports a variety of programs including regular Sunday meetings; a vibrant array of guest speakers and musicians on special occasions; and intensive weekend seminars; as well an abundance of free refreshments and food; and several publications provided to newcomers at no charge to inform them about Meher Baba and His Center in Southern California. The annual Silence Day Sahavas, a three-day event that for more than 40 years has brought together Baba Lovers from all over the country to hear special guest speakers and musicians, and share in His love.
Maintaining a large property that includes our meeting hall that seats nearly 200; the Dome where Baba Lovers can find peace and quiet at the feet of a chair in which Beloved Baba sat; out-buildings that house offices and archives; outdoor spaces where His Lovers can gather for picnics and song; the Dhuni fire pit; and a lovely garden. Outreach programs to benefit those less fortunate, including the “Help Fund” which helps those in the local Baba community. Maintaining top-notch media equipment, including the sound system; microphones; projectors; and television and movie capabilities. Finally, the big ticket expenses that aren’t very exciting but can’t be avoided. A large part of our budget must be spent on electricity; phone; water; trash-hauling and insurance.
